One of the most beautiful things about noticing beauty, or joy, or pretty much anything is that the more you pay attention the more there is of it.
What are you paying attention to these days?

I live by this truth! And you know how much I LOVE that picture. Such great advice. Stay awake and aware of what you are focused on. It is what you will see.
Lori I actually thought of you when I posted this and how you do live by this and you are such a constant reminder of how to live in joy, and how to appreciate the beauty in each moment :).
Weeds…. Every night on my 3 mile walk I watch new and old weeds blossoming along the trail and road. Every night they change from coming out of the ground to the shear beauty of them blossoming including dandelions. Also the colors of the leaves on trees changing every day from brilliant dark green to light green to golden yellow. The thistle is a thing of beauty along with the changing colors of clover.
At the end of the season I will be putting up a group of pictures on Facebook of my nightly walks with weeds & trees from Spring to Fall taking away the stress of every day life.
Agree with Lori Anne, your picture of the farm is outstandingly beautiful. I love taking rides around the country side looking at old barns and farms on the way to a gorgeous sunset at Cannon Lake.
There is beauty everywhere including cityscapes, you just have to open your heart and eyes and look around.
Thanks Erica for the trip.
π Love the idea of the pictures π I can’t wait to see them!
The last sweetpeas in the garden.
Yum!!
Beautiful words Erica. It is a goal of mine to live mindfully, and to be present in the moment each day. To embody a calm mind, body and voice (I talk to loud and sometimes yell to much), and to have compassion for myself, and for those around me. Thank-you you for your words, as they help me remember what I believe in, and that I can do it. Keep on rockin!

Diana ~ You can do it π I think the important thing to remember (at least for me) is that it is a decision that I make on a regular basis, and I don’t always do it, but I strive to allow myself the same compassion I extend to others and let myself gently come back to who and where I want to be. Always in process π
My nieceβs and nephewβs babies. I volunteer to care for them as much as I can to watch every change.
I know the feeling Jacque π I try to do the same π Having nieces and nephews is such a gift!
